You may often hear the catchy photography terms in the world of photography. That for some people a little confused cloud interpret it. In this article I try to discuss it, so you more easily understand this term, because this term will likely appear in my article next. You have heard aperture, ISO, Depth Of Field and others. 

For those of us who want to learn in the world of photography term that term must we understand, because in that term there is a definite meaning we use in the world of photography, either in tricks or his technique. We can not learn without knowing the meaning of the term, hopefully in my article this time, can simplify the learning process for you.

I will try to explain terms that we might hear in photography, we start with the term

1. Aperture

The lens aperture, which affects the amount of light entering the camera sensor, the aperture unit is f-stop, for example f / 2.8, f / 5, f / 22, etc. The lower its value the more wide its lens aperture f / 2.8, the reverse is with it the greater its value, the smaller the lens aperture its example is f / 22.

2. ISO

ISO is the level of light sensitivity to camera sensor, the higher ISO value we use, the more sensitive the sensor to light.

3. Exposure

Is the result of aperture diaphragm in mixed with the shutter sped, which determines the lighting on the photo.

4. Shutter Sped

Is the speed of the aperture which affects the lighting on the object photo. More and more openings, more little exposure on the object of his photo.

5. Auto Focus

Is the automatic focus on the lens, which is usually found on the lens that has a lens motor, in its own lens.

6. Flash

Is a tool in the shooting, which emits light, to help on the lack of exposure.

7. Depth Of Field (DOF)

8. Filter

9. Lightmeter

Measuring equipment, which is usually in need at the time of shooting.

10. Overexposure

It is an overly laxative condition, which results in overly bright lighting.

11. Reflector

Tools that are usually in use on shooting, which serves to reflect light.

12. Noise

Conditions in which when shooting we use high ISO, which usually cause red or white dots on the image, there ISO settings we need in order not to cause noise on the image.

13. Red Eye

The effect caused by the reflection of light, to the eyes of the photo object.

14. Angle Of View

The angle we take, which is at the base of our vision

15. Back Light

Is a thief that comes from behind the object image.

16. Blur

Is the blurring of a photo, the effect in intentional or not in deliberate, usually in can because openings diaphragm large or small depending on the results in the can.

17. Bulb

A very slow shutter speed technique that is in the camera, which is used to photograph objects. Which usually have very beautiful results, such as painting.

18. Macro

Is a close-up photography technique, which we usually pair with macro lenses.

19. Snapshot

20. Metering

Is a light measurement pattern.

21. Focal Length

The distance between the lens and the focal plane, where the image is formed, common in millimeters or mm, in photography is marked F

22. Fix Lens

The lens has a single focus point, eg 50mm f1.4 lens

23. Infinity

The infinite distance we usually see with the 8 sleep sign.

24. Macro Lens

Lenses are commonly used to photograph small objects, or close-up shooting.

25. Super Wide Lens

The super wide angle lens, commonly used for architectural shooting, scenery, interior, indoor shooting, such as in-house marriage.

26. Telephoto Lens

The lens is in used to take a picture the object remotely, so the results are clearer and larger example of the lens is 85mm lens 200mm.

27. Tripod

Tools that are used to support the camera, so we can set the shooting more stable, shaped three feet.

28. View Finder

Is part of the camera, which we usually see through it while shooting.

29. Zoom Lens

Is a zoom lens, which can change its focal length, usually by shortening or stretching the lens tube.

30. Wide Angle Lens

Is a lens with a wide angle, 24mm lens example, commonly used photographing the scene, so it can capture the entire scene.
